This is a slower month than usual. Instead of hitting the books and writing reviews, I spent some time in August applying to jobs and internships, having interviews, and filling out paperwork. It was well spent, though. I’m starting my new job and internship this week (well, after Hurricane Dorian leaves the area!) I couldn’t be happier about these steps in my professional life.
There were twelve books on my TBR; I read four. The Shadows Between us. Lovestruck. No Place Like Here. The Center of the Universe. Still, it’s not that bad since I’ve been reading without a TBR for three months now.
Out of the seven books I read this month, 0% were audiobooks, 29% e-books, and 71% physical books. This was not a month for me and my audiobooks, which is a shame since I have a few on Overdrive that I’ve been meaning to listen to.
My goal for September is to listen to more audiobooks when I can’t read a physical book.
While I didn’t read as much, I still managed to read a few amazing and fun books. Check out the list below to see what titles made it on my radar this month!
- Light Filters in Poems by Caroline Kaufman
- No Place Like Here by Christina June
- Vampire Knight Vol. 12 (Vampire Knight #12) by Matsuri Hino
- Vampire Knight Vol. 13 (Vampire Knight #13) by Matsuri Hino
- The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller
- The Center of the Universe by Ria Voros
- Lovestruck by Kate Watson
Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think about it?
Good luck on your new job!
